Professional GMING and Development
So, I’ve started working on the second edition of Chrono-Rogue, taking it back to the studs a bit. I think time travel is a very complicated genre to write a game world for, and in my efforts to cover all my bases, I might have gone too overboard with rules bloat. Once the second edition is done, I will be sending it to all the backers who backed the first game for free.
Until that is done, I’ve signed up to be a professional Game Master on Startplaying.games
So far…it’s been a bit of a disappointing experience. I’ve done seminars, webinars, talked to a lot of other storytellers and it seems like it’s just really hard to get people to take a chance on you when they don’t know if you’re good at all. There are tons of storytellers, all of them have 5 star ratings, all of them competing for the same audience. Tons of games go unfilled, stories go untold, character’s unmade. I really wish there was a way of not feeling like we’re all desperately selling ourselves. If anyone has any advice for building a community. I’m all ears. I have my dog though. He’s really sweet. I’m still practicing art and will be updating here and other places when I can. Hope everyone is having a great day.
